Everything went well with the delivery. The c-section was much better this time around- (I liked avoiding the whole "labor" business!) I don't remember much from the day, other than being very drugged and nauseous.
Greta meeting her new, still nameless baby brother. We have been calling him "baby Mo" for months, but realize we have to pick a real name before we go home. It was very stressful!
March 9We finally picked the name and signed the papers. Soren Brent Svendsen (Yeah for me winning rock, paper scissors!) is ready to go home!
Welcome home Soren! (Greta is still refusing to call him by his name. She is mad we didn't name him Alec, so she still calls him baby Mo.)One Week Old!

He is SOOO darling! What a beautiful baby!! I loved seeing these photos. Looks like Gunnar and Greta sure love him. Everyone looks great. I love the name too-I'm sure your dad sure feels honored as well.

Soren is gorgeous! I love the photo of him smiling. Looks like Greta is getting used to the idea of having a baby brother...of course, how could she resist? I'm impressed you have so many great photos up for us to enjoy...thanks!
p.s. I just told Cesar the baby's name and he really likes it! He said "they always give good names!" ;-)
